Coco Dolcé

Hey! I have big news! The world is running out of chocolate! I know it's not the greatest news to hear but it is a big opportunity for us!
The Philippines' climate makes our country a potential producer of cocoa and, with the continuously growing demand each year, the problem is slowly threatening to take away our favorite treat! Do you want that! Imagine a world without chocolate?!
Coco Dolcé not only capitalized on this problem but they are also doing it in the most beneficial and sustainable way, not only for the farmers, not only for their consumers, but also for the environment and the very soil they plant in. (More on their website: freefoodco.com)
These seems like a very sponsored review but, in all honesty, it's not! I'm just that passionate about food! Especially about chocolate! Again! Imagine a world without chocolate! IMAGINE! (Virtually trying to come through your computer/phone screen to shake you!)
Oh! For those diabetics out there that are trying to find alternative ways to sustain their "sweet treat addiction", Coco Dolcé uses coco sugar, which is basically a sugar substitute made from the sap extracted from a coconut tree. To summarize, and to make sure you know, their products are not detrimental to diabetics! Hurray for human ingenuity!
Anyway, on to the review!
WHAT I'VE TRIED:
Honestly, I've only ever tried their 65% Dark Chocolate and their Dark Chocolate with Chili bars so..... That's what I'm going to review today!
65% Dark Chocolate Flavor Profile: Have you ever had a genuine tsokolate eh or ah? For foreigners, just in case there are some of you reading this, it's just hot chocolate. Hot chocolate that's made with tablea (Chocolate tablet) and water. It tastes exactly like that, like a chocolate bar version of a tsokolate eh or ah.
Dark Chocolate with Chili Flavor Profile: It tastes the same as the 65% Dark Chocolate but with hints of spice here and there. Personally, I didn't like this one because the spice distracted me from the taste of the chocolate bar. But, you know, give it a try! I might just be a hater.
For people who don't necessarily like dark chocolate, why? Anyway, for people who don't necessarily like dark chocolate, Coco Dolcé has other products for you to try. They have their Milk Chocolate, Milk Chocolate with Pili, and Milk Chocolate with Rice Crispies bars.
For people who like dark chocolate, you're my people! Anyway, for people who like dark chocolate, they also have their Dark Chocolate with Pili, and, like I said, try it first and don't listen to my hating, Dark Chocolate with Chili bars.
Plus, they also sell Organic Coconut Sap Sugar! Everything they sell, by the way, is organic because organic is better!
Originally, or so I thought, you could only get them in Davao, but they've branched out and are now selling in certain grocery stores. You could go to Rustan's Supermarket and buy them today, or right now! Actually, I don't know where else you could buy them here in Manila, but since I know that Shopwise is under Rustan's then I'm assuming that you could get them in Shopwise too!
(Go to Rustan's first, preferably, the one in Rockwell, because I'm sure they carry Coco Dolcé products! If you can't find it there, then go to Shopwise next but if you can't find it in Shopwise, remember, I only assumed they had it.)
THAT'S ALL..... HAVE A HAPPY FOOD TRIP!
BYYYEEEE!!!!!!
