Southern Dairy

One of the best things about living in the south is getting to have easy access to places, more specifically, restaurants, that aren't commonly known elsewhere. I know that there are a million food hubs located in the north and that our Aguirre Street doesn't come close to the amount of restaurants that they have there, which, by the way, is a fact that irritates me so very much, but I would like to stay positive and explore the restaurants that we have here instead.
The newer one of the two branches that Southern Dairy has on Aguirre, from the outside, isn't really anything special to look at and, coincidentally, when we first passed by them, they didn't have any customers. Obviously, a person, unfamiliar with the brand, would think that they weren't doing well because they didn't have good food or any other reason that would explain why no one was dining in their restaurant. Fortunately, my family and I decided to give it a try because we were too lazy to explore Aguirre further.
One thing to take note of, before going to Southern Dairy, is that there is very little space to park a car. Yes! One singular car! So if you're thinking of bringing one or if you're going with your friends and each of you would like to bring your cars, I'd advice you not to. Uber there or something.
Going back to Southern Dairy's visual appeal, their interior design is very different from their exterior design. Where the exterior was quite dark and sullen, their interior was very modern, comforting, and hipsteresque, if there even is such a word. I liked how majority of their products were written on a huge chalkboard and was made to be their wall background. I also liked how they made use of filament lights to give off that warm vibe.
Enough about aesthetics....... Let's get on to what you're really here for!
WHAT WE ORDERED:
Homestyle Burger: Based on the picture above and the emoji that I've used for it, you would know that I very much enjoyed it. It was a simple beef patty burger with eggs. But, as simple as it was, it didn't disappoint and scored big brownie points from me because its beef patty was moist and tasty, its buns were soft, and the lettuce inside was crisp. What more could I ask for?
Banana Caramel French Toast: You know how when you eat something and it's really good and you would like to eat more but, at the same time, you know it's really bad for you so you try and fail to stop yourself from eating? This dish makes you choose between your health and your appetite. It would be better if you took, at least, more than two people with you, so that you wouldn't feel too guilty for eating it.
Campfire Sundae (?): I don't remember what it's called exactly but I do remember that it had the word campfire in it and I'm 50% to 60% sure that you would be able to order this dish if you would just say the word campfire. It's a gelato dessert dish that's topped with marshmallow fluff and torched to toasty campfire goodness.
Southern Dairy is both a gelatiera and a restaurant, which also offers home-made pints of gelato for you to be able to take home. They offer simple dishes but give you more than what you'd expect.
THAT'S ALL..... BYE!!!!!
HAVE A HAPPY FOOD TRIP!!!! :)
