Sugar Factory

In all honesty, their drinks are simply just sugar and, sometimes, if you choose to, alcohol. But since we're in the Philippines where in my opinion, dry ice is difficult to find and buy, the added bonus of actually being able to see and experience, up close, the "visual effects" of having dry ice in a drink, makes Sugar Factory what it is. It's like a candy store for semi - adults, or real adults, who are fun, trying to adult and not succeeding. Plus, everyone, I think, has that inner child that's waiting to come out every once in a while and this is the perfect place to get your equally semi - adult friends and have a quiet adult chat while eating candy and sweets.

WHAT WE ORDERED:

White Gummi Goblet: This, based on what their servers said, is their best - seller, and is nice and sweet, in the beginning, but, after a ton of ice has melted, the only thing that you'd be able to taste is the alcohol, which if you're getting to get drunk, then I think that's fine, but, if not, then I don't think you'd appreciate it after letting it sit throughout a whole conversation with your friends.

Ocean Blue: It was a normal soda-based drink, though this one didn't have any alcohol in it. It tasted like a gummy-infused soda, however, the gummy itself, after thawing it out, due to it being drowned in a dry ice drink, didn't taste too good. It tasted like the Sunflower Oil, which I put into my hair. I don't exactly know what the Sunflower Oil tastes like but these gummy dolphins tasted how the oil smelled like and, I think that's disgusting, so I spitted it out. Though the drink itself is fine, promise!!! What's funny is, if you constantly stir your drink and leave the straw in, the drink will spurt out and, will, probably, stain your shirt. Well, it's only funny when it doesn't happen to you.

The Classic Old Fashioned Sundae: The ice cream/s that were in the dish tasted like they were from a commercially - sold brand. Being that it's a little on the expensive side, I would have thought that they would have made their own artisanal brand. Oh well, I guess that's just me.

Really, I think, the only reason for you to go here is to try it out, at least once, and have a fun night out with your friends. I would, however, advice you to eat elsewhere before drinking here.

That's all.... BYE!!!!

Have a happy food trip! :)
