Fireside by Kettle

Although Fireside by Kettle isn't known for their desserts, my friend and I weren't able to find other dessert places, within the Rockwell area, which we haven't had the chance of trying yet. Having said that, it's not surprising that they wouldn't have a variety of desserts to choose from.

We were actually, well, more of, I, personally, but we're going with we, were attracted by their interior. It wasn't overdone and it wasn't intimidating to go in, it was just comfortable and, more importantly, the servers were very accommodating of our needs as their guests.

WHAT WE ORDERED:

Sticky Banana Fig Pudding: It's not too sweet even with the caramel on the side. It's also paired well with the vanilla ice cream.

Homemade Smores: The smores were beautifully plated but were too sweet for me. However the grahams, well, I think they're called grahams, were quite different and were very tasty. The torched marshmallows would have been better if they weren't as burnt as they were and maybe, if they added their vanilla ice cream to this dish as well, then it would have, probably, balanced out the sweetness of the dish.

Also, another good thing about this restaurant is that they have a reasonably - priced and uniquely - crafted bar list that will surely put an exclamation point to your food experience.

That's all..... BYE!

Have a happy food trip! :)
