A simple yet elegant place to have your Churro & Crêpe fix. La Maripili, isolated from the busyness of Alabang Town Center, is a place to have quiet conversation, a cup of coffee, and a feast of starchy doughy goodness. From what I've had a chance of sampling in their menu, saying that their food is good would be a total understatement and would be a huge insult.
Looking into the restaurant itself, you'd know that it's a haven for foodies who make food photography a hobby. Everything from the exterior, the interior, to their food, screams Instagram worthy (OR "Wait! Picture muna!").
FOOD REVIEW:
Classic Churros w/ Chocolate Dip: Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The way a Churro should be. Add the chocolate into the mix and you have a food party in your mouth.
Nutella Crêpe: I'm not exactly sure if it's called a Nutella Crêpe but I'm a 100% sure that there's Nutella in it and if you know what Nutella is then you know that you could never go wrong! What's different about it is that La Maripili didn't just spread that Nutella goodness on that crêpe! They brought it to another level and folded whipped cream into the Nutella to produce a fluffy Nutella filling that melts in your mouth. BUT! THEY WERE NOT DONE!!!! They brought it to an even higher level and made sure that you would die early but happy and topped that with more whipped cream! (WHAT A WAY TO GO!)
SERIOUSLY! If you have the time.... Preferably RIGHT NOW then go there and experience this for yourself and tell me I'm wrong!
