I've actually been avoiding making this food review because, if you look at my previous ones, they're all, somewhat, positive. This particular one, however, will not be. I was, at first, looking forward to trying their food and then.... I saw a tiny cockroach crawling on their bar table. I didn't make a big deal out of it but pointed it out to one of their wait staff members. Obviously, they took the time to kill it, however, I, honestly, didn't see any sense of urgency toward the matter. AND THEN!!!! Because it crawled under their coffee maker, I helped them out and used my phone's flashlight to look underneath it, only to see that there was another cockroach!!!! Despite all of these incidents, I still tried to remain unbiased and TRIED to be excited about the food.
WHAT WE ORDERED & MY OPINIONS:
Salami Pizza: I understand that Salami is cured and is supposed to be a little on the salty & the tangy side but this one was overwhelmingly so. It was the only thing you could taste! You couldn't taste the tomato sauce and the mozzarella at all! I know it's called a Salami pizza but why would there be other components to the dish if it wouldn't serve the dish any purpose!!! (Hindi ako galit, PROMISE!)
Spinach Ravioli: Ravioli should be a pasta sandwiching a certain type of filling and then is complemented with either a white or tomato sauce. But their ravioli was so soggy that it couldn't hold the filling anymore and it, honestly, looked too unappealing! (Especially because it was drenched in sauce too!) It would have been nice to be fooled by the "books' cover" but it was what it was and what it was, was not great nor good.
21 Layer Lasagna: This was the only dish that was, somewhat, okay. It wasn't great but compared to the other two... I'd say that this is the only dish that is worth its price.
By the end of this food experience, I was sad and unfulfilled and, to conclude the cockroach trilogy, there was ANOTHER ONE on the floor.
Try this at your own risk, I say this because I said that I would never tell you to not try or not have a certain food experience, at least, once. But if you don't want to then that's okay! You'll save a lot of hard-earned money for another day and for a much better food experience!
That's all!!!! BYEEEE!!!!
