Overall Summary at the bottom of the page for people who do not want to read a VERY LONG review.
It's seldom that I get to eat at restaurants that serve Spanish and Italian food and being that I've been eating at, mostly, Filipino and Asian restaurants these past couple of weeks, I was actually quite excited to try a new, to me, restaurant. I didn't expect too much but that's what I received. Everything that we tasted, from the starter to the dessert, well, one of the desserts that we ordered, were quite amazing.
The price is a little on the expensive side but it's well worth it. The bread basket at the beginning of the meal had fresh soft and hard rolls, slices, and other types of bread that were so fulfilling. Even their mashed potatoes had a different twist, they added a little BBQ oil, which may seem a little weird but it boosts the flavors of the normal mashed potatoes that were used to. Also, try their Chicharon, you might think that you don't need to try them because you can, pretty much, buy them everywhere else, but they add a little twist to it and, don't be a snob, try everything at least once. Anyway, we also tried their Beef Shank Lasagna, but it tasted a little like Corned Beef to me, though not the canned ones, the real ones. Try their Butternut Squash Soup too, they pour it for you and although it may seem like I get amused easily, which I do, but that's not the point, it is quite entertaining and it's great for Instagram purposes. Our mains were also, mainly, carbs, we tried their Mushroom Risotto and their Prawn Risotto. I, personally, liked their Prawn one better because I'm not really a fan of how some mushrroms taste like. I'm a little mushroomsist.
For dessert, we tried their Caramelized Banana Cheesecake and their Lemon & Coconut Cake. The cheesecake was paired with a peanut butter ice cream and although there wasn't much variety, texture-wise, the flavor-pairing was quite delicous. The Lemon & Coconut Cake, on the other hand, was a little disapponting. I'm not saying that it didn't taste good but it wasn't moist, it was like chewing on freshly shaved coconuts.
Summary (For people who do not read and do not want to read, I understand):
Best Seller: Don't know.... Didn't ask.
What I Tried: Chicken Asian Salad, Beef Shank Lasagna, Butternut Squash Soup, Mushroom Risotto, Prawn Risotto, Caramelized Banana Cheesecake, Lemon & Coconut Cake
Overall Summary: It's a little pricey.... But it is worth it and if you're not too hungry, it's actually good for sharing.
