Barrio Inasal

Overall Summary at the Bottom of the Page for people who do not want to read a VERY LONG review. :)

Often, we take our native dishes for granted and we sometimes prefer expensive and foreign over cheap and local. It might be because we are used to paying too much for quality or maybe we want to be perceived as someone who spends without having to think about the dent it puts in our wallets. (#RealTalk) But it doesn't always have to be that way and sometimes it's more fun to experiment and experience our local dishes before patronizing foreign ones.

Though Inasal has now become a fast food favorite paired with unlimited rice, I think it's best to have it made by the people who knows what's what and who knows the right recipe to entice our taste buds. Although this might seem a little implactical, due to them not offering an unlimited rice promo meal, I strongly recommend this restaurant, over the fast-food ones, because, really, it all comes down to the meat, how it tastes, how its charred and grilled, and how its tender and juicy. (Plus! What are you going to do with the rice when you run out of meat or when the chicken doesn't taste as good as you know it could be?) Not saying that other restaurants, which offer unlimited rice promo meals, don't have standards, but consistency is a little hard to achieve when the kitchen has to produce the same dish over and over again in a 5 to 15 minute period.

The restaurant is a little hidden and is quite difficult to find or reach, especially for people who aren't from the south, but because of this, they also offer their guests with a relaxed environment that allows them to have an enjoyable time with their family, friends, and their food.

Have a happy food trip! :)

Summary (For People who do not read and do not want to read, I understand):

Best Seller: Sorry, I didn't ask but I'm quite sure that because they're called Barrio Inasal that their best seller is the Inasal. ;) Which Inasal? I Don't know!

What I Tried: Meal 2 (Pecho with Rice & Iced Tea)

Overall Review: It's, relatively, affordable and the food is well worth it. :)
